Personnel Administrator at the National Transport Unit

The Swedish Prison and Probation Service is growing – we are building new, renovating, and expanding, and we are now looking for more employees. We are the authority responsible for prisons, probation, remand facilities, and client transport.

We are now looking for someone who wants to work as a personnel administrator with us at the National Transport Unit - Transport Planning. The place of employment is Arvidsjaur or Malmö. If you are placed in Malmö, you need to be able to travel to Arvidsjaur regularly.

RESPONSIBILITIES

As a personnel administrator, you will be responsible for short-term and long-term schedule planning for our transporters. The schedule is set by a central function at our headquarters while you manage local deviations and changes through registration in the personnel system Heroma. You handle short- and long-term substitute needs during planned absences for example due to vacation or training. You also assist in producing certain HR statistics, order employment contracts for new employees, and manage administration that arises around schedule management/personnel planning. You respond to simpler contractual questions from our employees.

The work involves many contacts with other professional categories. You work closely with managers at NTE and the local planning department. You have contacts with the security section and with the authority's central administrative support, the Swedish Prison and Probation Service's service center.

You will have good support and a sounding board in your colleagues and your manager.

QUALIFICATIONS

You are attentive, accommodating, and take responsibility for your tasks. You are a structured person, and planning, order, and tidiness are some of your strengths. It is also important for us that you share our values, such as belief in people's willingness and ability to develop and a respectful approach towards everyone.

We are looking for someone who has:

• Completed upper secondary education or other education combined with work experience that the employer deems relevant.
• Experience in personnel administrative work.
• Ability to express yourself well in spoken and written Swedish.
• Good computer skills.

It is meritorious if you have:

• Experience with Heroma.
• Experience working with government collective agreements.
• Knowledge of laws and agreements (labor law, working time regulations, policies, etc.).
• Experience with criminal cases.
• Experience working within the Swedish Prison and Probation Service.

About the workplace

The task of the National Transport Unit (NTE) is to transport deprived of liberty persons. This mainly includes clients of the Swedish Prison and Probation Service between remand facilities and prisons as well as to court hearings, medical visits, etc. NTE also transports deprived of liberty persons for example for the Police, the National Board of Institutional Care, the Swedish Migration Agency, and psychiatry.

The position is classified in a security class and a security review including a security interview with a background check will be conducted before a hiring decision is made.
